Singapore TraceTogether COVID-19 contact tracing data sharing
TraceTogether is a system developed and operated by the Singapore government to identify people who have come into contact with others who have tested positive for COVID-19. The system was launched in March 2020 as a mobile app . The app was later supplemented by a physical token for elderly people and children who may not own a smartphone or prefer not to use the app. TraceTogether was widely adopted by Singaporeans, reaching a 92 percent adoption rate in May 2021. It was later made mandatory for all Singaporeans.
