Character.ai hosts chatbots of deceased teenagers Molly Russell and Brianna Ghey
Chatbots impersonating Molly Russell and Brianna Ghey were found on the Character.ai platform. The Molly Rose Foundation called it a 'sickening' failure of moderation. Character.ai deleted the chatbots after being alerted and said it takes safety seriously.
