Robert Dillon writes that on Aug. 26, 2024 he was arrested at his Fort Myers home for allegedly attempting to lure a child in Jacksonville Beach, after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office ran McDonald's security footage through an AI facial recognition system that flagged him as a possible match. Prosecutors dropped all charges weeks later; Dillon is suing the officers, the city of Jacksonville Beach and the sheriff's office.
