Neurologist Nasser Mohamed alleges in a lawsuit filed Nov. 4, 2025 in San Francisco Superior Court that an AI tool Waymo uses to check new riders against the Treasury's OFAC watch list wrongly flagged his name and blocked him from booking rides after he registered in November 2023. Waymo says it does not discriminate and disagrees with the claims.
