“Dark Sourcery” Cyberattack Uses Fake Company Contacts to Steer AI Users into Scams

The Dark Sourcery campaign floods the internet with fake posts, PDFs, reviews, and support pages to manipulate AI chatbots and AI-powered search results into providing fraudulent company phone numbers, email addresses, and login pages. Researchers say at least 374 companies have been targeted, and users who contacted the fake numbers have reported being tricked into handing over payment and credit card information.
