Tesla Model 3 possibly on Autopilot hits six schoolchildren and parent in Sussex
On 16 August 2021, a Tesla Model 3 struck six schoolchildren and a parent outside Ardingly College in Sussex, UK. An eight-year-old boy was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital. Police are investigating whether the car was operating on its Autopilot system at the time of the collision. The driver, a 47-year-old woman, was uninjured.
