Apple settles Siri listening lawsuit for $95m
Apple has agreed to pay $95m to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that its Siri virtual assistant recorded conversations without users' consent and shared the recordings with advertisers. The lead plaintiff, Fumiko Lopez, claims she and her daughter were recorded after unintentionally activating Siri. Apple denies wrongdoing and says it settled to avoid further litigation.
