Lego apologizes for AI-generated Ninjago art with unlicensed Naruto imagery
Lego posted AI-generated images of Ninjago characters on its website as part of an online quiz. The images included a headband from the Naruto manga, for which Lego does not hold a license. After the images were shared on social media, Lego removed them and apologised, stating that the test happened outside usual approval processes. Lego said it has a policy against using generative AI for content and that the incident would not happen again.
