On September 11, a 49-year-old man driving a Volvo S90 with assisted driving engaged crashed into a construction buffer truck on National Highway 1 in Miaoli, sustaining minor injuries along with his passenger. Police found no alcohol involved. The incident occurred only four kilometers from where a Volvo using assisted driving caused a fatal crash last month, killing three and injuring three.
