Visible change on Dhaka-Chittagong highway under AI surveillance
AI-powered cameras and an automatic fine system were launched on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on August 18 to detect traffic violations. The system covers about 250 kilometers with 1,427 cameras planned at 490 points. In the first 24 hours, 449 cases were filed and fines totaling 1,551,000 taka were issued, mostly for speeding.
