The City of Austin's autonomous vehicle incident dashboard recorded more than 320 incidents involving driverless vehicles between July 2023 and September 2026, including safety concerns (32%), near misses (13%) and school-bus stop-arm violations (8%). The city compiles the reports from departments and 311 calls and does not validate them; the figures were published by a traffic-safety law firm.
