Five Tesla Robotaxi Crashes, All Involving Remote Operators

Tesla reported two new Robotaxi crashes to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, bringing the total number of reported incidents to 36. The August crashes occurred in Dallas and Austin, caused property damage only, and happened while remote operators were controlling the vehicles; all five reported crashes involving remote takeovers ended in collisions.
