Meta said an automated security system mistakenly suspended the No Kings Coalition's Instagram account on Oct. 17 during its early-voting push, and apologized. Meta says a tool from Anthropic's Claude was reading profiles and posts at about four times the normal rate, which resembled bot traffic. The coalition says the page was down about 90 minutes and organizers were locked out for longer.
