A woman in Russia’s Amur region used ChatGPT to create an image of a bear on a local street and sent it to a friend as a joke. The image spread through messaging apps, prompting residents to alert police and wildlife rangers to search for a bear that did not exist. A court fined her 15,000 rubles.
