The reel showed the officer in uniform with his image and voice altered to promote a scam involving the sale of old currency notes, the fake voice claiming that no registration fee was required and that people could earn up to Rs 25 lakh. Police are investigating the account, possible victims, and whether similar deepfake videos targeted other officials.
