Italy fines Amazon $1.3 billion for algorithm favouring its logistics
Italy's antitrust regulator fined Amazon €1.13 billion ($1.3 billion) for abusing its market dominance. The regulator alleged that Amazon used an algorithm to give an unfair advantage to its own logistics service over third-party sellers. Amazon said it disagreed with the decision and would appeal.
