According to The Guardian, xAI is offering to buy homes in the Colonial Hills neighborhood of Southaven, Mississippi, where residents have complained about noise and vibration from a gas-fired power plant serving its data center. The company’s subsidiary, MZX, is reportedly targeting 418 homes, and the proposed sale terms bar sellers from joining the noise-related class-action lawsuit; property records show it has bought five homes so far.
