Self-driving bus in another accident in Komatsu, hits curb just two weeks after restart
On August 18, a self-driving bus operated by Komatsu City struck a curb at the west exit plaza of Komatsu Station. The bus was running in Level 2 automated mode with a driver on board. None of the 11 passengers or the driver were injured. The service had just resumed on August 4 after a similar accident at the same station in May.
