The complaint alleges that Grammarly's AI-powered Expert Review feature dispensed writing advice using the names of prominent journalists, academics and authors without their consent. Grammarly said it would disable the feature, and its parent company's chief executive said the feature had missed the mark but that the company believes the legal claims are without merit.
