A Tesla traveling about 70 mph struck and killed a 71-year-old man who was crossing Interstate 80 near Vallejo early Thursday; the driver told police the car was in Full Self-Driving mode. The pedestrian was struck by at least one other vehicle after falling in the roadway, and those drivers did not remain at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating and has not said whether the FSD system contributed to the crash.
