Surgeon sues Google over 'bankrupt' autocomplete suggestion
Dr Guy Hingston, a Port Macquarie surgeon, sued Google for defamation over an autocomplete suggestion that when users typed his name, "Guy Hingston bankrupt" appeared. He alleges the suggestion is false and has cost him patients and financiers. Google declined to comment. The lawsuit was filed in US district court in California.
