On March 27, 2024, a robotic arm at the Vandapac factory in Chonburi, Thailand, fatally crushed a worker who was laying out sheets of material. The robot arm swung down and pinned the man against a bench. Emergency responders rushed him to hospital, but he died from major trauma.
