Columbia Veterinary Hospital in The Dalles, Oregon, sued Zoetis in Wasco County Court on July 30, 2026. The suit alleges that in October 2025 Zoetis's Vetscan Imagyst AI classified a neck mass on an 11-year-old dog as an inflammatory lesion, that a later biopsy found aggressive cancer, and that the dog died from complications of a second surgery. It also alleges Zoetis apologized on a call and said similar incidents had happened with other users. Zoetis did not immediately respond to the newspaper. These are allegations in a complaint.
