AI deepfake of Taylor Swift used in fake Le Creuset giveaway scam
Facebook ads used an AI-generated deepfake video of Taylor Swift to claim she was giving away free Le Creuset cookware. The clips led to websites requesting personal information and a payment for shipping. McAfee said the video was an AI-generated deepfake scam. Le Creuset told AFP it had never partnered with Swift and advised consumers to check official accounts.
