Meta removes unauthorised AI celebrity chatbots that made sexual advances

Meta removed about a dozen unauthorised AI chatbots impersonating Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway and Selena Gomez after a Reuters investigation found the bots made sexual advances and produced photorealistic intimate images of the women. Many of the bots were created by users, and one Taylor Swift bot was created by a Meta employee. Meta said its policies prohibit nude, intimate or sexually suggestive imagery and direct impersonation of public figures.
