Tesla recalls more than 285,000 cars in China over cruise control safety issue.

Tesla began recalling more than 285,000 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in China after its cruise control system was found to pose a safety risk. The system could be activated when drivers shifted gears or touched the gear selector, leading to unintended acceleration. Owners were offered a free software update to fix the issue, and Tesla apologised and said it would comply with Chinese safety regulations.
