Sony PlayStation Store shows different prices to different users for same game
A PlayStation user in the UK noticed that the price of Assassin's Creed Unity increased from £3.74 to £9.99 after signing into their PSN account. Sony has been using dynamic pricing, known as A/B pricing, on the PlayStation Store since November 2025, offering different prices to different users for the same game. The practice is not illegal under EU consumer protection rules, according to the European Commission.
