London Facial Recognition Scans Half a Million Faces, Yields One False Match
A six-month trial of facial recognition at London railway stations scanned over half a million faces but resulted in no arrests linked to the technology. The only match was a false identification. British Transport Police has extended the trial and started using the technology on the London Underground.
