Washington's attorney general sued RealPage and nine local landlords in King County Superior Court, alleging a conspiracy that raised rents. The suit says RealPage's software collects nonpublic, competitively sensitive data to recommend rent increases, and estimates that 800,000 leases in the state were priced with it between 2017 and 2024. It alleges six violations of the Consumer Protection Act and seeks restitution for renters. RealPage calls the allegations misleading and inaccurate.
