A woman attending a Sibir hockey game in Novosibirsk on October 24 was mistakenly identified by facial-recognition software as a woman wanted by police. Officers took her and her mother, a lawyer, to a police station, where a second document check confirmed the error; both were released and received apologies. The club gave the fan free tickets to its next game.
