Shenzhen's market regulator fined a small generative engine optimization (GEO) provider 50,000 yuan. It was accused of using its own "GEO analysis system" to extract AI platforms' inclusion standards and of fabricating fake rankings in batches, to influence what large AI models cite or recommend. The report does not name the company, and describes the matter as unfair competition against AI makers.
