Land Line, citing the Los Angeles Times, reports that on Oct. 22 a Tesla struck and killed a 71-year-old man who was crossing Interstate 80 in Vallejo, Calif. The driver told authorities he had been operating in Full Self-Driving mode. The report also notes an Oct. 13 crash in which, CHP said, a Tesla driver was asleep when his car hit a patrol vehicle and seriously injured two officers.
